🐾Instructions for use of pet ear thermometer:
1. Prior to use, ensure that the thermometer is clean and free of any debris or residue. Alcohol can be used to clean the thermometer both before and after use.
2. Steady your dog's head and delicately raise the ear flap to provide access to the ear canal.
3. Power on the thermometer, and insert the probe gently into the ear canal. Allow the thermometer to remain in place until it indicates completion via a beep or on-screen notification.
4. Retrieve the thermometer from the ear canal and read the temperature display.
5. Record the temperature and compare it with the standard temperature range for your pet's body size and breed. The average temperature range for dogs is typically between 99.5°F and 102.5°F (37.5°C and 39.2°C).
